Ashton Coal has submitted to the Department of Primary Industries a Subsidence Management Plan for longwalls & miniwalls 5 to 9 in the Pikes Gully Seam. Following extensive investigation, miniwalls have been adopted in environmentally sensitive areas to minimise subsidence impacts. Due to the size of the SMP it can not be displayed in full on the web site. However the Main Report text and the SMP Report Text are shown as an overview.
